From the Cutting Room Floor…

We recently released our 125th episode and couldn’t be happier. It has been a great experience wandering around North and South Carolina visiting wonderful destinations and then turning those experiences into short high definition videos that share these spots with the world. As any filmmaker will tell you, you always overshoot a location so that you have plenty to work with in post production. While revisiting the majority of the locations wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world, when you are trying to produce videos you really want to get everything done in one visit and not have to return for additional footage. That being said, we really shoot a lot of video when we visit an area. We film everything and, when possible, use drone technology to get the unique perspective that only aerial video can provide. When we start working on an actual episode, only about 10% of the video that we shoot makes it to the final cut, the rest of that material ends up on the cutting room floor. We literally have hours of great content and thought it would be neat to throw something together using this never before seen material. So we offer up the following video, Carolina Aerial Video. It isn’t an official HD Carolina episode on a specific location but more of a compilation of a bunch of different destinations. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did. When we re-watched this content we were reminded of all the epic destinations of things to see and do in the Carolinas and were inspired to keep documenting this wonderful area we are fortunate enough to call home. Thanks for watching!
