Caesars Head State Park Overview

Caesars Head State Park is located off US Highway 276 in Cleveland South Carolina.  The visitor center, and park headquarters, is located at 8155 Geer Highway.  It is a beautiful drive to Caesars Head whether you approach from the North or the South via well maintained Carolina mountain roads.  Take your time and the hour drive from Greenville South Carolina or Asheville North Carolina will seem like nothing.  The visitors center is well marked with plenty of parking available.

Caesars  Head State Park is a great place for everyone to visit.  Whether you want to spend 5 minutes,  5 hours, or longer, there is something for everyone.  The best place to start is the visitors center as it has ample parking, restroom facilities, vending machines, numerous picnic tables,  a gift shop, interactive museum, and priceless views that are only steps away from the parking lot.  You could easily spend a morning or afternoon at the visitor center having a picnic and enjoying the views from the Caesars Head Overlook.

Caesar Head State Park is much more than the visitor center as the park offers a total of 7,467 protected acres for  hiking, camping, and fishing.  There are numerous waterfalls inside the park including the 420 foot Raven Cliff Falls.  Make plans today to visit Caesars Head at your first opportunity, you won’t be disappointed.
